Chris grew up in central Pennsylvania, the seventh of nine children in a family that loved music, poetry and art. Each child played an instrument. Chris started with piano, guitar and voice. He loved most to play his guitar and sing. One of his inspirations, Ed McGuire, would say that to be a guitarist, first you must be a person, then a musician. Chris studied at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh where he earned a BFA in music, specializing in classical guitar. After completing his degree Chris traveled for several months in Europe experiencing the sights, sounds and culture that gave birth to the classical style. He then moved to California where he began a career in computers, never letting go of the music. He is an outstanding classical guitarist and composer. He and his wife Cheri founded Wolftunes in 2002. Please check out our Past Performances Gallery. | Canarios |
